Welcome To Taqueria Cancun

East Boston. Finally.

Taqueria Cancun is a little place in Maverick Square right on the Blue Line (Map).

It's a little more expensive than your average taco stand, but less so than most sit down restaurants. That's nice, 'cause they offer table service. In fact, they do such good business there's often a wait to get a seat.

They have an extensive menu with all kinds of special plates and soups. Take advantage and get something different.

Dear Jonah and friends: Have you been to Melinda's Taqueria? It's in Cleary Square in Hyde Park, only a mile or so from Roslindale square. Drive (or take the #32 bus) down Hyde Park ave until you see the police station on your right and Papa Gino's on your left. Get off the bus and walk about a block down River Street (Papa Gino's should be on your right as you walk). Their food is fresh and delicious, and is not expensive. Plus, Melinda looks like a medieval painting of a saint, and her husband is really cute and compact, kind of like a hatchback Volkswagon of some sort.
