Low Viscosity Refried Beans

Following our excellent experience at TaQueria La Mexicana last week, we went back on Monday. I had the 'special' plate. Please note that the special plate is not a daily special but permanently so.

The plate was fine, although not as good as my lofty expectations. What concerned me was the beans. These frijoles were especially soupy. Curious.

Null Hypothesis: The refried beans are unadulterated.

Alternative Hypothesis: The refried beans have lard added to them.

At this point, I am unable to reject the null hypothesis. More research is required.
